Synonyms pulchra, sculptatissima… « Very pretty pecies, ovoid, white, shiny, having two embryonic whorls whose apex is placed on the upper plane, and only three normal whorls. The latter are decorated, on the first half, with longitudinal ribs crossing two prominent spiral cords. On the reverse of the second cord, the ribs disappear, and on the second half of the whorl there remains only one cord; finally, on the last whorl, the cords follow one another and adorn the entire base. The suture is crenellated by the ribs of the first half of each whorl. The aperture is approximately oval, wider at the bottom than at the top.
