| Gulf of Corinth and southern half of Aegean Sea… Predator in the circalittoral, on coralligene. Description of the holotype: « The teleoconch consists of 6.5 slightly convex whorls separated by a conspicuous suture. Moderately wide subsutural ramp. The body whorl occupies some 55% of the total length, is conical in shape, and bears on its body whorl 12 orthocline and narrow axial ribs with interspaces as wide as the ribs, and 16 alternating in width spiral cords much thinner than the ribs, 6 of which are situated over the suture and the rest 10 bellow to the distinct tail of the shell. « Shell surface dull with the appearance of sandpaper in the form of fine micro granules » – Ibid. This feature is only found in one other species: Raphitoma stanici. The alternance of primary and secondary spiral cords is not often conspicuous, as the secondary ones are rather thin. |

« Multispiral protoconch II (larval shell), pinkish-beige in colour, […] of 3.25 regularly cancellated and convex whorls, exhibiting on the last half whorl a weak keel continuous with the first spiral cord of the teleoconch.
