Linnaeus’s description is, as often, rather short, and could be suitable for Nassarius circumcinctus (A. Adams, 1852): « Testa gibba lævi, labio interiore explanato gibbo. – S.N. vol.I, p.398 in the tenth edition. – Dark shell from Valletta, NE. Malta. 17mm.
